Not insurance

Wife Insurance is a gift-concierge service. It is not insurance, not an insurance policy or product, and is not regulated as insurance. “Coverage,” “claims,” and “policy” are brand terms used in fun and create no insurance relationship.

One-time purchases

Wife Insurance is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. When you buy a gift, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method once, for the price shown at checkout. There is no recurring or automatic billing, and we won't charge your card again unless you place another order.

Changing an order

Because each gift is sourced and shipped for you, you can change or cancel an order only before we begin working on it, by contacting us at hello@getwifeinsurance.com. Once we've started, see Refunds.

Refunds and our guarantee

You pay once, at checkout. You can cancel for a full refund any time before we start sourcing or shipping your gift (for an experience, before we book it or issue the voucher). If we can't deliver by the date we promised, you can cancel that order for a full refund.

If she doesn't love a gift we delivered, tell us within 14 days of delivery (for an experience, within 14 days of the occasion) and it's your call: we'll redo it, or refund what you paid. One make-good per order. Where a gift was already used up before you told us (an experience she attended, flowers already delivered), we'll make it right with a redo or a credit rather than a cash refund for the used part. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. None of this waives any right you have under your state's law.

Information and images you provide

This section covers everything you give us, whether you buy a gift or use our gift-ideas tool. You represent that any person shown in a photo you upload is an adult, and that you have the right and any needed permission to share everything you provide. You give us a limited license to use what you provide solely to produce your gift ideas and provide the service to you, nothing else. We delete uploaded photos once your gift ideas are built: for the gift-ideas tool, when we send you your ideas; for a gift you buy, once her style profile is finalized. How that works is in our Privacy Policy. You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from what you provide.

Service “as is”; limitation of liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but “as is.” We don't guarantee any relationship outcome, gift availability, exact delivery date, or that a gift will be liked. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before a claim.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
