What we collect

Your email and phone; payment info (handled by Stripe — we don't store your card number); the onboarding details you provide; and the photos you upload, which we use only to build a style profile and then delete (below). We put no advertising or analytics trackers on pages where you upload photos.

Photos you share — infer, then discard

When you subscribe, we ask for a few photos to learn her style. We use them to build a private, de-identified style profile (brands, colors, sizes) and then delete the original photos once we've finalized that profile— and you can remove any photo yourself during setup. We do not create or store facial-recognition data or biometric identifiers, and we don't try to identify her — we infer style attributes only.

Before you subscribe — the free gift-ideas tool

If you use our free gift-ideas tool, we collect what you enter: the occasion, her key dates, any notes, your email, and — only if you choose to add them — photos. We use all of it for one thing: building the gift ideas we email you (and your email for those ideas plus occasional reminders about her dates, which you can unsubscribe from anytime). We delete the photos when we send your gift ideas — we don't keep them, and if you later subscribe we'll ask fresh rather than reuse them. We keep the non-photo details (occasion, dates, notes, your email) so reminders work and your ideas carry over if you subscribe; email us anytime to have them deleted. As everywhere on this service, we do not run facial recognition and we don't create or store biometric identifiers or face templates — we look at style, nothing else. And we don't sell any of it.

What we keep

Only the derived style attributes and the details you give us (key dates, sizes, preferences) — never the raw images after the profile is finalized.

She hasn't signed up — your responsibility

You provide info and photos about another adult. You confirm you have the right and any needed permission to share them and that she's an adult. If she asks us what we hold or to delete it, we'll honor reasonable requests at hello@getwifeinsurance.com.

Do we sell your data?

No. We don't sell your or her personal information and we don't share it with data brokers or for ad targeting. If we ever build anything from aggregated, de-identified trends that never identify anyone, we'd update this policy and tell you first.

Service providers

We share data only with vendors who help us run the service (Stripe for payments, our email and hosting providers, and the AI vision provider that builds the style profile), under contracts limiting their use — and we require that uploaded photos aren't used to train their models.
